In most child custody situations it is the desire and goal of most parents to share periods of parental responsibility of the child(ren).

The most important time sharing to establish is the GENERAL SCHEDULE, during the months of school. The important consideration in a child custody agreement is stabilizing the children's experience.

It is important that both the parents design a stable school experience for the children.

Therapists, Mediators and Parents have discovered that having two parents attempt to share the children's school experience tends to be more difficult for the children.

This does not in any way imply that parents cannot share the school time.
